I watched two very different comedy’s recently. Both had funny moments, but a lot of not so entertaining moments as well. In the end, both movies, to me, were about the same entertainment- wise, yet they are very different movies. The two movies are Clerks II and Little Miss Sunshine.Clerks II – I have very little expectations going into this movie. I looked at is as Kevin Smith being bored and making another movies in the series. There was a lot more substance in the movie, and a lot of hilarious parts. Overall, it fits neatly into the category of movies that really aren’t that good, but really entertained me. Rating: Entertaining

Little Miss Sunshine – This is a movie that has gotten rave reviews, but really didn’t do it for me. The story is nice, and the acting is very good, but much of it left me feeling uncomfortable. I really can’t say that I enjoy watching people argue and get pissed off at each other, although I understand how it is very important to the story. The end result is a great message, and I enjoyed watching it, but I can’t say I’d want to watch is again. Rating: Entertaining
